Sebastiano Serafini 038 – Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses / wearing John Lawrence Sullivan, Marc Jacobs

” Focus on your blessings, not your misfortunes. Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses. Relax and let life come to you… try not to force anything “

Though we can all make excuses as to why certain things may happen in our lives, and it may be tempting to show the world only what is good about us, and none of our flaws. Living life in this manner isn’t truly living a full life at all. Sure no one wants anybody to see them mess things up, and no one wants to be viewed as a failure, but one is truly only viewed as failure not when they fall down, but only after they refuse to get back up.

In this dog eat dog world, the people who are usually remembered are those who are victorious. As long as one is gracious, and determined enough to keep going after failure after failure, eventually one will be victorious, and will be remember as a winner, and not as someone who succumbed to their failures. We must focus on showing the world how good we are, instead of trying to hide how bad that we can be.

  1. sebas must focus on how good we are and not succumb to failure because the victorious people always are always applauded for their success.

  2. Great quote today.

There is something to be said for being humble enough to visibly fail. Humility is not self-abasing; it is being honest about our failings as well as our successes. The good side of allowing our failings to be seen, is that they offer hope, encouragement, and a positive example for others as they struggle with their own concerns. But it takes courage, honesty, and self-confidence. Continuing to get up and keep trying is the best example. The other part is that people need to know the stories of success and failure if they are to be the guides. …and that’s really not easy. 🙂

  3. Wow today after reading your message, I am speechless. You are so right.
I think everyone knows failures, misfortunes are a part of our life. Who has not known failure is superhuman;)
The important thing is to find the strength to get up every time we fall, and we will become stronger each time.
I think if our life was always easy, life could be a little boring or monotonous . It is interesting and gratifying for a person clinging to a goal and do their best to achieve it.

(PS : I love this photo as always 😉 !)

  4. Ciao, Sebastiano!
Buona giornataaaa!
