Sebastiano Serafini 035 – Just be yourself, there is no one better / wearing J.W. Anderson, Theyskens’ Theory

It’s a shameful truth, but the fact of the matter is that most people choose to be another person when others are taking notice of them, and only choose to be themselves when no eyes are on them. The most dynamic people that we take notice of on a consistent basis are those who bring something refreshing to their audience, those who are able to shine because of their uniqueness.

So why do so many of us fall into trying to fit in to society’s mold of what normal is. If you like so many of us are guilty of this then today is the day in which you can make a change. Show the world who you really are. Do the things that are in your heart to do, and live as yourself, don’t live to satisfy anothers appetite, because you doing so will never satisfy anyone, including yourself. Remember each day that you are who you are, there is only one you, so be yourself!

  1. It is difficult to be your complete self all the time. Though it is still possible to be true to yourself by not crossing the boundaries you set with your own principles and standards. Look at how your relationships differ from one person to another. With one friend you may spend most of the time laughing at silly things, with another you talk together of serious topics for hours. With your parents you may guard certain aspects of your life or personality while with a stranger you may discuss things you’ve never even thought of before. Different aspects of our personalities are emphasized in each relationship, yet we are still ourselves.
People sometimes hide themselves as a way of protecting themselves from censure or ridicule. Certain times in life (childhood, adolescence) have an inherent force that pushes the individuals to seek conformity. Then there are certain societies that can make the revelation of personal differences dangerous. Think about the challenges addressed by the NO H8 campaign.
I love your thoughts today. …just think gently of those who lack the courage, experience, or circumstances to be able to follow them. Thank you for putting this out there. Maybe it will plant a seed of confidence in a heart that is not there yet.

  2. Why should we deny what we are really? For other people? Not a good idea, not a good reasoning. You must being yourself for than people you appreciate for what you are and not what he think you are. Who think otherwise are not an interesting people.
Being true to yourself Is better than lying to yourself, this is my opinion.

  4. Ciao, Sebastiano!
    Waaa!
